Good afternoon Gamer! Tonight, October 27th kicks off the first of our Halloween themed events. For our constructed Friday Night Magic event at 7:00pm, we will be doing a Nightmare Tournament. It is time to bring out all those zombies, werewolves, witches, horrors, goblins and ghouls and see what magic the spookiest time of the year will bestow on them. Using any of these scary Halloween creatures, construct a 60 card Modern deck. Don't forget, with a Modern format, you can bring and play cards form Ixalan all the way back to 8th Edition. That will give you plenty of wicked cards to work with. There is no entry fee for this event. We will have some fun things to give away, including a Halloween themed soundtrack from local artist Circuit Static.
Then, on Monday, October 30th, our Dice Masters Monday gets a taste of the spooky. Our theme for the night
"Welcome to the Fun House". For this event, our Mastermind of all Dice Masters events has a whole slew of things to keep players on their toes throughout the night. Check out our website or Facebook page for more information on what players should bring that night. You can also preregister here. The fun starts at 7:00pm and there will be a $2 entry fee. All players will walk away with prizes at the end of the night.
Last but not least, on Halloween, Tuesday October 31st, make sure to swing into the store. We will have treats for those who come in and give us their best "Trick or Treat!"
Join us Saturday, October 28th for a Dino Sized Weekend! We will have Magic the Gathering events going on all day. First, we start off with a free Commander Tournament at 11:30am. Then, Standard Showdown kicks off at 2:00pm. This is also a free event and will have some major prizes to give away including Ixalan Standard Showdown boosters. At 4:00pm, things start to get really Dino Sized. At that time, we will be kicking off a 4-pack draft. You read that right. We will be drafting with 4 packs instead of the regular 3. This will ensure that your deck is as beefy as possible. There will be a $12 entry fee for this event and a prize pool of 1 booster pack for every 2 people that participate. Players may feel free to come and join us for any of these events or just come hang out and maybe pick up a casual game or learn more about our upcoming Midseason League events.

Our next Paint Night is scheduled for Thursday, November 9th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Make sure you mark your calendars and get in early to prepay for this event. There will be 20 available spots for this event and participants must be at least 12 years of age.
There will be a $35 entry fee if you register prior to November 9th. Registration on November 9th increases to $40.

Come join us November 18th at Gamer’s Inn for the 2017 Fall WizKids Open for Dice Masters! We will be using a Rainbow Draft format for this event and will be drafting Guardians of the Galaxy. The cost to participate is only $14.00 a person.

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Game Nights. Each Game Night starts at 7:00pm and is free to participate in.
On Tuesday, October 24th, we will be learning how to play Fluxx. Fluxx is a card game in which the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game. By playing cards, you change numerous aspects of the game: how to draw cards, how to play cards, and even how to win.
Our next Game Night will be November 28th. That night we will be learning how to play Caverna.
Remember, we offer an additional 5% off the game, and any of it's expansions that we demo that night. |
