The Game of the Month for May is Mansions of Madness. On Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00pm we will be teaching you fellow Gamers how to play this fun and mysterious game. Designed by Corey Konieczka, Mansions of Madness is a game of insanity and mystery for two to five players. One player will take control of the monsters and nefarious powers within the game. The others will investigate and search for answers in the story. The story changes with the decisions that you make, so be sure not to take the wrong step. You never know where you will end up on this quest, where you are fighting to survive with your mind intact!
We invite you to join us this Friday, May 3rd for our Sealed War of the Spark event at 7:30pm and then return on Saturday for our Magic the Gathering Open House on May 4th. Entry into the sealed event is $20! You can not beat the value of this set with all of its bomb dropping Rares, Mythic's and uncommon's. We have seen Gods take over unwilling to be exiled or destroyed by mere spells. We have seen Planeswalker's decide the fate of their enemy by locking them down or pumping their team in battle. We have seen creatures overwhelm and populate out of control. There are truly so many ways to battle with this set so don't miss out on this opportunity to seal it up once more. Then for those wanting to learn more about the Magic community and the game we love to play, come by for free to play and learn magic all day on May 4th and collect one of the cool new promos from this amazing new set. We well also have drafting going on all day long on the 4th. We will fire off a draft anytime we have 6-8 people ready and waiting. You will also be able to pick up a cool Draft Weekend Promo for participating.
Also make sure to join us as we kick of the War of the Spark League Season starting Tuesday, May 7th at 7:00pm. Start off your League deck with 3 booster packs and then fine tune it through the duration of league by adding weekly packs. After our 4 week Sealed League, you can continue on in the fun by morphing your deck into a Brawl Deck and joining us for a 4 week Brawl League. Entry for each League event is $10.

We are having an amazing Local writer join us on May 18th @ 1pm - 3pm. Ben Ireland has written a wonderful story sure to spark the imaginations of those who delve into his book series Billy Blacksmith the Demonslayer.
He has 4 books in this series that young and old can enjoy. Follow Billy as he finds out that there is more to his world then meets the eye and his life is turned upside down by demons that want his blood. These demons aren't the kind of demons you are used to however, they are creatures with their own problems and desires. So come in and meet the man who writes these books and check out his books in store! |
